What Single Song license do I need for a YouTube video?

The type of license required is determined by the nature of the project, who it is intended for, and how it will be distributed. If the video is associated with a brand, company, or organization, one of the promotional license options we provide will be required. The promotional licensing options are 'Small Business,' which is for companies with fewer than 50 workers, 'Business,' which is for companies with 51 to 250 employees, and 'Enterprise,' which is for companies with more than 250 employees (request a quote for custom pricing). The employee count utilized should represent the total number of full-time and part-time employees employed by the brand/business that is producing the video.

The Individual licensing option would be appropriate if the video is vlog/lifestyle content that you are sharing with your family/friends/followers on your personal YouTube channel.

Note that the single song licenses we sell on the site do not contain monetization rights, so if you want to make money from your video, you'll need an Enterprise license.
